All menus created by our Head Chef are seasonal using local produce wherever possible.

A selection of menus will be available to offer to a wide range of guests that we look forward to welcoming at The Exeter Arms.

Our new menu offers à la carte dishes along with traditional pub classics, lending itself to any type of occasion. A menu is also available for our younger guests.

The Front restaurant has a wide range of tables ideal for couples or larger parties and is provides a relaxed and cosy
atmosphere. Many of the original beams and beautiful stone work have been exposed to bring the building back to its former glory and for you to enjoy the craftsmanship of many a year gone by.

Game : When in season the local shoot provide us with Pheasant, Rabbit, Partridge and Pigeon

Fish: from 5Th Generation Fishmongers Wicker Fish Fresh every morning from Billingsgate Market

Meat: Multi Award Winning Butchers Owen & Taylor and Sons

Vegetables: Local Supplier Eureka Produce Sourced from the local Environment.

Asparagus, soft Fruits: Our friends at Manton Nick Marey and staff.

Cured Meats: Artisan Curers Rutland Charcuterie

Trout: When in season. Ewash River Trout Mr Lawrence Ball

Ale: Award Winning Local Brewers at Stoney Ford Ryhall.

Through the Summer period we have a NEW outdoor BBQ & Pizza Oven open between 5.00 – 8.30pm also.

snug

Snug
A semi private area off from the Front Restaurant, The Snug provides an intimate room for dining or for sole use for up to 12 guests maximum.

orangery

Orangery
The Orangery is a new addition to The Exeter Arms providing a light, bright and airy space. Designed to reflect the tradition of an Orangery, this area is perfect for dining, enjoying a drink, morning coffee or afternoon tea.

In the summer months, the doors to The Orangery can be opened so that guests can spill out onto the sunken patio and enjoy the sunshine.

The Orangery is also available for private dining.

Bar
During the restoration of the The Exeter Arms, we moved the bar back to its original home towards the rear of the public house. Having moved the bar we have been able to open up the area into a traditional country pub with a wood burner for the winter months that provides a warmth to the building.
